Ace of Performance Lisbon is seeking a Video Ad Scriptwriter to craft engaging scripts for short-form video ads. This is a creative role: no media buying, no analytics. You’ll watch ads, identify gaps, and write hooks that feel natural and human, even when AI assists the process.

You’ll collaborate with our editors and creators across agencies, ensuring scripts translate well on screen and resonate with both Portuguese and English audiences in a hybrid Lisbon-based setup.

Qualificações

• Creative thinker able to generate hooks and angles without a detailed brief.
• Strong scriptwriting and copywriting skills that are natural and persuasive.
• Comfort with using AI tools in the writing process without producing robotic results.
• A trained eye for video; can spot what could hook better.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.

Responsabilidades

• Watch existing video ads and propose new hooks, frames, and angles.
• Write sharp, conversational scripts that grab attention in the first seconds.
• Bring a human voice to every script, whether you start from scratch or refine an AI-generated draft.
• Work closely with editors and creators so scripts translate well on screen.
• Stay on top of what's working in short-form video and ad formats (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts).
