Jobgether is seeking a Solution Engineer in Lisbon to define and manage the roadmap for policy control platforms, coordinating hardware/software delivery and deployment with cross-functional teams. Accountabilities

• Define and manage the development roadmap and lifecycle strategy of policy control platforms, including capacity planning, forecasting, budgeting, and technology evolution initiatives. Lead the delivery of new services and platform enhancements from requirements gathering and solution design through deployment and operational handover.
• Translate business objectives into scalable and reliable technical solutions in collaboration with internal stakeholders and technical teams. Manage relationships with technology vendors, including technical assessments, scope definition, contract alignment, and delivery oversight. Support procurement and tender activities by defining technical requirements, evaluating proposals, and contributing to solution selection.
• Coordinate end-to-end implementation activities, including hardware and software delivery, deployment planning, testing, and cross-functional execution. Provide technical expertise on platform architecture, capabilities, and service opportunities while supporting critical production changes and maintenance activities.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with telecom network technologies and service platforms within GSM, UMTS, LTE, or related environments. Strong understanding of policy control, charging systems, packet core technologies, and associated network components. Hands-on knowledge of Diameter and GTP signaling protocols and their application in telecom infrastructures. Solid understanding of IP networking concepts and network architecture principles. Experience working with Linux-based environments and familiarity with SQL databases.
• Ability to manage complex technical projects involving multiple stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. English proficiency at Pre-Intermediate level or higher. Knowledge of 5G Core architecture, large-scale data environments, or advanced Linux administration would be considered an advantage.
