TEKEVER is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the mechanical development and continuous improvement of the AR3 UAV. You will work across design, prototyping, testing and implementation, solving real engineering challenges and bringing concepts to a flying product.

Join a hands-on, fast-paced team and collaborate with Engineering, Design and Manufacturing across Caldas da Rainha and Leiria. English proficiency is required, Portuguese a plus, and on-site work is expected.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a related field (mandatory).
• Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software (preferred).
• Previous experience in mechanical design, product development, prototyping or a similar environment is valued.
• Knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with fabrication methods such as 3D printing, machining and moulding is valued.
• Good level of English (B2 or above); Portuguese is a plus.
• Hands-on and practical mindset, with a willingness to work directly with physical products and prototypes.
• Proactive, curious and solution-oriented.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Team player, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can evolve quickly.
• Willingness to work on-site across both Caldas da Rainha and Leiria.

Responsabilidades

• Support the mechanical development and continuous improvement of the AR3.
• Translate engineering requirements and ideas into practical, functional and manufacturable mechanical designs.
• Design, adapt and improve mechanical components and assemblies using CAD tools.
• Build, adapt and test prototypes, iterating on designs based on testing and real-world results.
• Support the development of product changes, from initial concept and design through prototyping, testing and implementation.
• Identify mechanical issues and contribute to root cause analysis and practical solutions.
• Work closely with Engineering, Design, Manufacturing and other teams to bring products and improvements into production.
• Consider manufacturability, materials, assembly and fabrication methods throughout the design process.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the AR3 platform.
