Tekever Corporation is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the AR3 UAV’s mechanical development and continuous improvement. You will work across design, prototyping, testing, and implementation, turning concepts into a flying product. You may even learn to fly the AR3.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical Engineering, hands-on prototyping, and strong CAD skills, with English proficiency and willingness to work on-site in Caldas da Rainha and Leiria.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• SolidWorks experience preferred.
• Experience in mechanical design, product development, prototyping valued.
• Knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with fabrication methods such as 3D printing, machining and moulding valued.
• Good English (B2 or above); Portuguese a plus.
• Hands-on and practical mindset; willingness to work with physical prototypes.
• Proactive, curious and solution-oriented; strong attention to detail.
• Team player with adaptability in a fast-paced environment and on-site across Caldas da Rainha and Leiria.

Responsabilidades

• Support mechanical development and continuous improvement of the AR3.
• Translate requirements into practical, manufacturable mechanical designs.
• Design, adapt and improve mechanical components using CAD tools.
• Build, test and iterate prototypes based on results.
• Support product changes from concept through prototyping and testing.
• Identify issues and contribute to root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Manufacturing to bring products to production.
• Consider manufacturability, materials, assembly, and fabrication methods throughout design.
• Contribute to AR3 platform improvements.
