We are currently seeking a skilled Turner to join our team in Braga on a contract basis. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of lathes and other cutting tools to shape metal parts according to specifications. You will work with a variety of materials, including steel, aluminum, and brass, to create parts for different industries.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other machining equipment
• Read and interpret technical drawings to determine specifications for parts
• Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy of finished parts
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning
• Monitor machine operations to detect any malfunctions or defects
• Collaborate with other team members and engineers to troubleshoot issues and improve processes
