Candidates should have hospitality experience, strong attention to detail, and a professional appearance. Portuguese fluency is valued; weekend availability is expected.

Qualificações

• Previous hospitality experience preferred, particularly in Housekeeping.

• Respect guests’ privacy with discretion and professionalism.
• Keep the turndown trolley organised and stocked.
• Collaborate with the Housekeeping team to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow safety, hygiene, and product handling procedures.

Organization – Andaz Lisbon

Located in the heart of Lisbon’s vibrant Baixa district, along the city’s main pedestrian street, Rua Augusta, the hotel is spread across five distinct buildings, including the former headquarters of one of Portugal’s leading banks, Banco Português de Investimento (BPI).

The central building features 170 guestrooms, while the four satellite buildings offer a selection of exclusive private suites. As a unique urban resort in the city centre, Andaz Lisbon invites guests to fully immerse themselves in the local culture and experience the true essence of Lisbon.

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with a strong sense of hospitality to join our Housekeeping Team in the Turndown Shift.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing guest rooms for the evening, ensuring a comfortable, elegant, and thoughtful experience in line with the standards of a luxury lifestyle hotel.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform turndown service, preparing guest rooms for evening rest;


• Create a welcoming room atmosphere, including adjusting lighting, closing curtains, and ensuring overall room presentation;


• Turn down and prepare beds according to brand standards;


• Replenish amenities and comfort items for the night;


• Arrange towels, bathrobes, and other room elements;


• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and attention to detail;


• Identify and report maintenance issues or any irregular situations;


• Respect guests’ privacy, always acting with discretion and professionalism;


• Keep the turndown trolley organised and fully stocked;


• Collaborate with the Housekeeping team to ensure a smooth and efficient operation;


• Follow all safety, hygiene, and product handling procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum mandatory education level;


• Previous hospitality experience preferred, particularly in Housekeeping;


• Strong attention to detail and aesthetic awareness;


• Professional appearance and attitude;


• High level of responsibility, discretion, and organisation;


• Team player with a positive attitude;


• Availability to work part-time (4 hours) on an evening schedule, including weekends;


• Fluency in Portuguese is highly valued. Basic English skills are considered an advantage.
