The ideal candidate speaks French, English, and Portuguese fluently and possesses strong organization and communication skills. This full-time role includes patient welcoming, information management, and billing assistance in a multilingual environment. A permanent contract with benefits is offered.

Overview

We’re hiring: Trilingual Medical Assistant (Administrative focus)

Alegria Medical Centre – Lisbon (Avenida da Liberdade, opening soon)

Full-time – 40h/week, Monday to Saturday (monthly rota based on patient flow)

Permanent contract (CDI)

Alegria Medical Centre is an international walk-in clinic in Lisbon dedicated to providing healthcare services to foreigners. Our multilingual team covers general medicine, gynecology, dermatology, pediatrics, psychology, osteopathy, and more.

Your role

As a Trilingual Medical Assistant, you will ensure smooth patient care and medical coordination, combining administrative efficiency with warm patient interaction in an international setting.

Main responsibilities
  • Welcome and guide patients (in person and by phone)
  • Verify and update patient information and records
  • Schedule and coordinate consultations, exams, and follow-ups
  • Assist with billing, payments, and daily cash closing
  • Manage files, documents, and translations
  • Support physicians and contribute to overall service quality
Skills & soft skills
  • Fluency in French, English, and Portuguese (mandatory)
  • Strong patient service and communication skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, discreet
  • Comfortable with IT tools and office software
