Quadrante is looking to strengthen its Transport Infrastructures Business Unit by recruiting a Trainee Civil Engineer for the Roads and Railways department, based at our Lisbon office.

With both national and international projects of varying scales and typologies, Quadrante offers a unique professional experience in the Portuguese engineering market.

Responsibilities:

• Support the development of Roads and Railways projects;
• Ensure compliance with project deadlines;
• Perform Roads and Railways calculations, including geometric design, earthworks and drainage, using specialized softwares;
• Ensure project compliance with national and international regulations, as well as sector-specific requirements;
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design optimized solutions;
• Support the preparation of technical reports, project summaries, BoQ's and design specifications.

Profile:

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering;
• Basic knowledgeof Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; familiarity with road and railway design software is a plus; interest in BIM solutions will be valued;
• Willingness to learn and adapt to different types of projects;
• Proactive attitude, curiosity, and motivation to develop technical skills;
• Good communication skills and team spirit;
• Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset;
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken (knowledge of other languages is a plus).
