Forvia, a sustainable mobility technology leader, seeks a Toolmaker / Process Development Technician to set up, adjust, and fine-tune welding and assembly tooling, ensuring reliability and production quality. You will contribute to bringing manufacturing processes to production, support tooling start-up with suppliers, and implement improvements across Europe with travel of up to 60%.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience as technician in an industrial environment.
• Experience in tooling commissioning, tuning and maintenance.
• Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work in multicultural environments.
• Able to communicate (spoken) in English at a practical working level.
• Ability to work in a shop-floor and automotive manufacturing environment.
• Ready to travel across Europe as required by projects (approx. 30% to 60%).

Mansioni

• Set up, adjust, and operate welding and assembly tooling.
• Compare inspection results with drawings to identify deviations and adjust tooling.
• Contribute to tooling design with practical feedback.
• Implement corrective actions to ensure tooling performance.
• Use in-house machining resources to adapt or repair tooling.
• Set up, adjust, and validate equipment up to final acceptance.
• Support suppliers during equipment and tooling start-up phases.
• Define process solutions and ensure proper application.
• Apply mechanical and maintenance expertise to improve efficiency.
