Job summary

TSMG is seeking Tier 1-certified drivers to support a structured vehicle data collection project. You will operate a project vehicle on public roads, collecting real-world driving data to aid development of driver assistance technologies.

This is an operational driving role, not engine testing, with training provided and an independent contractor agreement. Shifts are rotating with ~40 hours per week across multiple locations within the assigned region.

Qualifications

• Valid driving licence recognized in the assigned operating region.
• Valid Tier 1 certification or client-accepted alternative.
• Safe and responsible driving record.
• Ability to drive for approximately 6.5–7 hours per day.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including occasional night shifts.
• Availability for frequent business travel within the assigned region.
• Basic professional English communication skills.
• Reliability, punctuality, and safety-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate project vehicle on public roads following predefined routes and shift schedules.
• Manually drive the vehicle at all times.
• Cover urban, highway, and rural roads under different lighting and weather conditions.
• Comply with local traffic laws and project safety procedures.
• Power on and monitor in-vehicle data collection systems.
• Clean sensors every 1–2 hours, as instructed.
• Monitor equipment status throughout each shift.
• Handle SSDs, HDDs, and other project equipment according to procedures.
• Tag predefined driving scenarios and complete daily logs.
• Report incidents, route deviations, and technical issues promptly.
• Follow project coordinator instructions and maintain English communication.
