Vestas in Porto- Leça do Balio is seeking a Test Environment Engineer to join the Virtualization team in the Plant Platform area. You will help ensure reliable validation of virtualization solutions via the Zero Series Testing environment, spanning design, maintenance, and automation of test frameworks.

Job Family Engineering Technology & Operations > Research & Development (R&D) > SPC Quality

SPC Quality is a submodule within Software Platform & Connectivity.

The Test Environment Engineer will be embedded in the Virtualization team within the Plant Platform submodule and will play a key role in ensuring reliable and efficient validation of virtualization solutions through the Zero Series Testing environment.

Responsibilities

• Managing, maintaining, and continuously improving the Zero Series Testing environment
• Maintaining and expanding Zero Series test suites and test coverage
• Planning, coordinating, and executing manual testing activities related to virtualization solutions
• Identifying opportunities to reduce manual testing through automation
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test solutions
• Supporting diagnosis and root cause analysis of software, infrastructure, and test environment issues
• Monitoring test results and documenting findings, risks, and recommendations
• Collaborating closely with development, quality, and platform teams to improve testing efficiency and quality

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of professional experience

Additional information

This is a hybrid position based in Porto, Portugal and requires up to 10 days of travel per year.
