Caixa Mágica Software seeks an experienced Automation Test Engineer to design and implement automated tests across web, mobile, API, and performance environments. You will support technical teams and ensure product quality through automated, critical business scenario testing, with emphasis on cloud environments and AI-assisted testing.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or similar
• Minimum of 4 years of solid experience in analysis and development of automated tests
• Strong knowledge of Java and test automation tools (Selenium, Appium, Cucumber) and performance tools (Locust, JMeter)
• Experience testing web, mobile, API and cloud-based applications
• Familiarity with cloud environments, CI/CD and AI in testing would be valued

Responsabilidades

• Translate user requirements into precise specifications for technical staff and developers
• Participate in middle management for project subsets
• Assist programmers with complex developments
• Draft project specifications with the owner and align requirements
• Design and implement technical architecture, and develop it further
• Supervise the work of programmer analysts on internal development
• Contribute to test strategy with emphasis on critical business scenarios
• Perform tests on cloud-based deployments and conduct load tests
• Support QA teams with automated test design and maintenance

We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer with a strong background in Java and test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, JMeter and Locust. The role involves designing and implementing automated tests across web, mobile, API and performance environments, supporting technical teams, and ensuring product quality through critical business scenario testing. Experience with Cloud environments, CI/CD tools and AI applied to testing will be highly valued.

What will you do?

• > 6 years
• Translate user requirements and formalise them into specifications in a way that is understandable and usable by the technical supervisory staff and the developer
• Participate in the middle management for a subset of a project
• Assist programmers with complex developments
• Assist the project owner with defining its requirements by taking part in the drafting of the project specifications
• Design, model, and implement a technical architecture, and develop it if it is an internal development
• Supervise the work of programmer analysts for internal development
• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or similar areas
• Minimum of 4 years of solid experience in analysis and development of automated tests
• Good knowledge of Java and Cucumber and Locust, as well as Selenium and Appium Frameworks
• Experience based on performing tests on applications installed in Cloud as well as performance and/or load tests on applications
• Knowledge of the following technologies will be an asset: SQL, Jira, Openshift, Jenkins, JMeter
