Job summary

JobCenter in Lisbon is seeking a Temporary Dishwasher to support the kitchen team. The role is up to 30 hours per week and requires standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects. Prior dishwashing experience and basic food safety knowledge are preferred.

Responsibilities include washing dishes, cleaning kitchen areas, assisting with food prep, and maintaining overall cleanliness. Weekend and evening availability is a plus for successful candidates.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a Dishwasher in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects.
• Basic understanding of food safety regulations.
• Good communication skills.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment
• Clean kitchen appliances and work areas
• Sort and organize clean dishes and utensils
• Assist with food preparation when needed
• Take out trash and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area
