Hutchinson Borrachas de Portugal, located in Campo Maior, seeks a Production Quality Technician to implement the Quality Policy of the OR&BS division within the production area. You will help ensure product quality and contribute to the company’s overall performance.

Your role includes diagnostics, inspections, problem solving, audits, and maintaining proper documentation and calibrated equipment; English and/or French language skills are required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related field.
• Knowledge of Quality and Problem-Solving tools (8D, SPC, Pareto, Ishikawa, FMEA).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
• Proficiency in English and/or French.
• Experience in large-scale manufacturing within an industrial environment.

Responsabilidades

• Analyzing and solving problems using robust problem-solving methodologies.
• Preparing and delivering technical presentations and reports.

Reporting to the Production Quality Responsible of Hutchinson Borrachas de Portugal at Campo Maior, as a Production Quality Technician, you will ensure the implementation of the Quality Policy of the OR&BS division within the production area assigned to you, contributing directly to the quality of the final product delivered to our customers, as well as to the overall performance of our company.

Your role

As a Production Quality Technician, your main responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating and carrying out process diagnostics, measuring equipment inspections, and operational procedure checks;
• Analyzing and solving problems using robust problem-solving methodologies;
• Preparing and delivering technical presentations and reports;
• Participating in complaint analysis to ensure a rapid response to customers;
• Monitoring the implementation and confirming the effectiveness of preventive and corrective actions triggered following the detection of non-conforming products;
• Conducting internal audits of processes and products;
• Ensuring within your sector the use of valid documentation and qualified and calibrated manufacturing and measuring equipment.

Your profile

Required Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field;
• Knowledge of Quality and Problem-Solving tools (8D, SPC, Pareto, Ishikawa, FMEA);
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards;
• Proficiency in English and/or French;
• Experience in large-scale manufacturing within an industrial environment (experience in a multi-product context will be considered an advantage).
