A remote customer support company is seeking a C2 Italian speaker with strong English skills for a customer support role in Portugal. You will manage inquiries via phone and email, ensuring customer satisfaction while promoting products and achieving sales goals. The position includes a performance bonus, meal allowance, and health insurance from the first day of work.

Overview

We are recruiting for a client with an exciting project for the Italian market, offering a remote opportunity to work from home in mainland Portugal.

Start Date: 05 June 2025

Contract: 6 months (renewable)

Location: Remote from mainland Portugal

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Interaction: Manage incoming inquiries via phone, email, and chat. Accurately log each case and ensure resolution within SLA.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Keep users informed on status and resolution timelines, aiming for high satisfaction ratings.
  • Post-Sales Support: Assist with deliveries, warranty processes, and refunds.
  • Sales Support: Recommend and promote products during inbound calls to boost revenue.
  • Sales Goals: Achieve quarterly sales targets while delivering excellent customer service.
  • Order Management: Follow up on customer requests and maintain complete records in CRM platforms in line with policies and procedures.
Candidate Profile
  • C2 Italian speaker with solid B2 English (mandatory)
  • Holds EU nationality or a Portuguese residence permit (visa holders are not eligible) (mandatory)
  • Minimum high school diploma (mandatory)
  • Strong communication skills, empathy, and customer focus
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn tools and systems
  • Previous experience in customer service is preferred
  • Experience in sales is a plus
  • Availability to work on rotational shifts
  • Performance Bonus: Up to 225 gross/month
  • Meal Allowance: 7.23€ per workday (via meal card)
  • Health Insurance: Included from day one (free after 6 months of contract)
Work Schedule
  • Monday to Saturday (including bank holidays)
  • Rotational shifts between 08:00 and 19:00 (8 hours/day)
  • Days Off: Sunday + 1 rotating day
Relocation Support
  • Reimbursement of airfare at the end of the 6th month of the contract - up to 400 in Economy class
  • Room in a shared apartment for a maximum period of 12 months, with rent of 280, with all utility bills included (discounted directly from the payslip)
