Constructor is a next-generation platform for search and discovery in ecommerce, delivering scalable AI-driven search, recommendations, and shopping agents. Our engineering and product teams solve hard problems and work across global time zones in a fully remote environment.

• Proven success hiring for technical roles such as backend, frontend, data/ML, and product management, and product design.
• Ability to partner with hiring managers and scale hiring across regions.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for highly technical engineering and product roles, from sourcing through to offer and close.
• Source and engage top-tier engineering and product talent across North America, LATAM, EMEA, and APAC.
• Deliver a high-quality candidate experience that reflects Constructor’s values and culture.
• Partner with hiring managers to define role criteria and success profiles.
• Provide weekly updates to hiring managers on pipeline progress and metrics.
• Manage interview logistics and time-zone coordination across regions.
• Build pipelines for current and future hiring needs across technical teams.
• Assess candidate fit for technical capabilities and communication in a fast-moving remote environment.
• Continuously improve recruiting processes, tools, and reporting.

About Us

Constructor is the next-generation platform for search and discovery in ecommerce, built to explicitly optimize for metrics like revenue, conversion rate, and profit. Our search engine is entirely invented in-house utilizing transformers and generative LLMs, and we use its core and personalization capabilities to power everything from search itself to recommendations to shopping agents. Engineering is by far our largest department, and we’ve built our proprietary engine to be the best on the market, having never lost an A/B test to a competitive technology. We’re passionate about maintaining this and work on the bleeding edge of AI to do so.

Recruiting at Constructor

Constructor has grown headcount over 180% in the last two and a half years with a lean team: a small recruiting team and the support of our hiring managers. We’re excited to continue growing and to bring on a Technical Recruiter that will focus on roles across our Engineering and or Product team. These teams are distributed across North America, APAC, LATAM, and EMEA. Given the technical nature of our product, prior experience recruiting for technical roles is required. We're looking for someone excited to partner closely with hiring managers and help us scale intentionally and effectively across regions.

Responsibilities

• Source and engage top-tier engineering and product talent across North America, LATAM, EMEA, and APAC


• Deliver a high-quality candidate experience that reflects Constructor’s values and culture


• Partner closely with hiring managers to define role criteria and success profiles


• Provide weekly updates to hiring managers on pipeline progress, challenges, and key metrics


• Manage interview logistics and ensure smooth scheduling and debriefs across time zones


• Build pipelines for current and future hiring needs across technical and adjacent teams


• Assess candidate fit for technical capabilities, communication, and success in our fast-moving remote environment


• Continuously evaluate and improve recruiting processes, tools, and reporting


• Represent Constructor as a thoughtful and enthusiastic brand ambassador in every candidate interaction

Requirements

• Proven success hiring for technical roles such as backend, frontend, data/ML, and product management, and product design


• Proactive and self-directed with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through


• Flexible and responsive to candidate needs, including scheduling across global time zones


• Demonstrated success in fast-paced environments, ideally at growth-stage startups


• Strong track record of retaining hires and building trust with hiring teams


• Deep comfort using LinkedIn Recruiter and adapting to new tools


• Highly organized with strong attention to detail


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal skills


• Empathetic, thoughtful, and clear when interacting with candidates and internal stakeholders


• Demonstrated experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS)


• Comfortable leveraging and iterating with AI tools to streamline recruiting workflows and sourcing

This role is fully remote and you are ideally based in or able to overlap with US and EMEA time zones. (ex. Portugal, London, Spain)
