Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Technical Project Manager in Portugal to lead telecom project planning, coordination, and delivery across Design, Integration, Validation and Acceptance phases. You will drive technical excellence while coordinating cross-functional teams and customer stakeholders to meet milestones and quality standards.

The role involves leadership across lifecycle activities, risk mitigation, documentation review, and collaboration with R&D to address technical challenges

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Cloud and Virtualized Network technologies.
• Basic understanding of telecom core network platforms and subscriber management solutions.
• Knowledge of Mobile Network Integration, VoLTE, IMS.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
• Leading project initiation, setup, planning, and execution activities.
• Coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing project dependencies.
• Identifying technical and delivery risks and defining mitigation plans.
• Tracking project progress and ensuring alignment with milestones and deliverables.
• Producing regular project status reports, including achievements, progress, issues, risks, and next steps.
• Managing customer-facing activities and acting as a trusted technical point of contact.
• Collaborating with R&D teams to address technical challenges and product-related topics.
• Reviewing and validating technical documentation, including HLD, LLD, SVS, Test Strategies, ATPs, and MOPs.
• Coordinating testing, validation, acceptance, and deployment activities.
• Ensuring project governance, quality standards, and customer expectations are consistently met.
