Qualifications

About the Role

As an Technical Business Analyst, you will join a specialized squad focused on a specific Core Banking domain, collaborating with international teams to deliver innovative banking solutions.

You will play a dual role, acting as both Business Analyst and Developer, participating in the full software development lifecycle—from requirements gathering and solution design to implementation and testing.

Full training will be provided on:

• Core Banking Operations
• Avaloq Functional Concepts
• Avaloq Technical Development

Key Responsibilities

Analysis & Design

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and analyze requirements
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
• Design and propose effective IT solutions together with development teams and solution architects

Development & Delivery

• Develop solutions using Avaloq Script (PL/SQL-derived language)
• Implement and maintain business functionalities within the Core Banking Platform
• Perform code reviews and contribute to development best practices
• Develop and execute unit and integration tests
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Functional Acceptance Testing (FAT)
• Contribute to automation initiatives and quality improvements

Mandatory Requirements

• Experience in software development using any programming language
• Basic knowledge of SQL
• Experience with code reviews and collaborative development practices
• Experience performing unit and/or integration testingAbility to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
• Experience using IDEs such as Eclipse, IntelliJ, VS Code, or similar
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
