Intellias is seeking a Tech Lead Engineer to drive MCP-based integrations, combining Python backend development, protocol design, authentication, observability, and AI platform integration.

You will lead MCP server implementation, define API contracts, and mentor teams while collaborating with AI platform and security reviews. This permanent Porto-based role offers a modern office and strong engineering culture.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of Python backend engineering experience.
• Hands-on MCP servers or tool-protocol adapters.
• REST/async API development with FastAPI or similar.
• Experience designing APIs and contracts.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and implementation of MCP-based services.
• Develop and maintain MCP servers and adapters.
• Define API contracts, OpenAPI specs, and governance.
• Collaborate with AI platform teams on agent communications.
• Mentor engineers and drive protocol adoption.
