Job summary

Grohe Portugal Componentes Sanitarios Lda. is looking for a procurement professional to support the Project Procurement team in a hybrid role.

You will work with Strategic Buyers, international suppliers and internal teams to ensure data, systems and processes keep projects moving forward. The role involves tender management, supplier coordination, negotiations and stock level planning, with a focus on cost, quality and logistics.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, technical buying or MRP/material planning.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Experience with SAP; knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and Ariba is advantageous.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with a professional approach.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work with data, systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Support Strategic Buyers with supplier, bundling and market strategies.
• Manage and evaluate tenders and RFQs.
• Support price and commercial negotiations.
• Manage suppliers and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
• Help optimise the supply chain across cost, quality, liquidity and logistics.
• Determine stock levels and requirements.
• Create and track framework agreements and purchase orders.
• Support savings initiatives, including phase-in and phase-out activities.
• Coordinate change requests, special releases and scrapping activities.
• Maintain purchasing and master data in SAP and support invoice verification.
• Manage orders, tooling and database information.
• Ensure Project Buyers have the information and system support they need.

About The Role

What you’ll bring

• 1–2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, technical buying or MRP/material planning.
• A Bachelor’s degree.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills with a confident, professional approach.
• Good attention to detail and an ability to work comfortably with data, systems and processes.
• A hands-on and independent working style, with the ability to take ownership without needing close supervision.
• A collaborative approach and the ability to coordinate effectively with different internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• A genuine interest in developing your procurement expertise and building a long‑term career in the role.
• Fluent Business English and Portuguese, alongside very good knowledge of Google products.
