HN Services Portugal is seeking a Systems, Platforms & Operations Administrator to ensure the availability, performance, security and scalability of critical IT systems and platforms across on-premises and cloud environments. The role involves collaborating with development teams on DevOps and CI/CD, automating operations, and supporting disaster recovery planning.

The position requires strong Linux/Windows Server knowledge, experience with VMware/Hyper-V, Docker/Kubernetes, and cloud providers

Qualificações

• Experience with Linux and Windows Server administration.

• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, VPN and firewalls is expected.

Systems, Platforms & Operations Administrator

We are looking for a Systems, Platforms & Operations Administrator to join an established company with a strong focus on technology, infrastructure and digital transformation.

This role is key to ensuring the availability, performance, security and scalability of critical IT systems and platforms, across both on-premises and cloud environments.

What you’ll do

• Administer and maintain operating systems, servers, networks and IT platforms
• Manage virtualisation, containers and cloud environments
• Ensure system availability, performance and monitoring
• Support security, backup, disaster recovery and business continuity
• Troubleshoot technical incidents and ensure SLA compliance
• Automate operational processes and recurring tasks
• Collaborate with development teams on DevOps and CI/CD
• Support scalable and resilient technology architectures

What we’re looking for

• Strong knowledge of Linux and/or Windows Server
• Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, Docker and/or Kubernetes
• Experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, VPN and firewalls
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools
• Scripting skills with Shell, Python or PowerShell
• Familiarity with information security practices
• English or French
• Degree in Computer Engineering or a similar field

Hybrid model: presence in Alcanena and Lisbon, combined with one remote day per week.
