Claranet in Lisbon is seeking a Systems Administrator to join the internal IT team. The role focuses on maintaining Windows servers, VMware virtualization, scripting for automation, and ensuring secure, reliable systems across the network.

The candidate should have 5+ years of experience, strong knowledge of Windows, Unix/Linux, and virtualization, and be proficient with PowerShell and Office365 administration (Azure, Exchange Hybrid, SharePoint, Teams).

Qualificações

• AT LEAST 5 years of relevant experience as a system administrator.
• Strong computer skills including Windows, Unix/Linux, and virtualization environments (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Knowledge of structured networks and TCP/IP, including routing protocols, IP addressing, subnetting, and VLANs.
• PowerShell scripting: develop and automate tasks using PowerShell.
• Office365 administration: Azure, Exchange Online (Hybrid), SharePoint, and Teams.

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Servers, ensuring performance and security.
• Manage and optimize VMware hosts, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain scripts with PowerShell and VBScript to automate tasks and streamline processes.
• Oversee deployment of applications, ensuring correct installation and configuration on servers.
• Continuously monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions for reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure systems are secure by applying security policies, patches, and updates.
• Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes.
• Collaborate with other IT professionals and departments to support IT projects and initiatives.
