A2IT Technology in Portugal is seeking a Microsoft Systems Administrator to support enterprise environments with more than 10,000 users. You will design, implement, and manage infrastructures, including virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware), SQL Server, and server monitoring.

The ideal candidate has +5 years of Microsoft systems experience, strong networking knowledge, and ITIL awareness; certifications are valued.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in Microsoft systems administration.
• Solid experience with Hyper-V and VMware virtualization.
• Experience installing and configuring SQL Server.
• Strong networking knowledge (DNS/DHCP/VLANs) and ITIL familiarity.
• Microsoft certifications valued.

Responsabilidades

• Design, administration, and implementation of infrastructures and systems.
• Administer virtualized environments (Hyper-V and VMware).
• Deploy and manage hardware (rack servers).
• Monitor servers and ensure high service levels.
• Troubleshoot networking (DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
• Provide excellent customer support.

We are strengthening our team with a Microsoft Systems Administrator to join enterprise environments supporting over 10,000 users.

If you have solid experience in Microsoft infrastructures and virtualization, this could be your next challenge

• Design, administration, and implementation of infrastructures and systems;
• Administration of virtualized environments (Hyper-V and VMware);
• Deployment and management of hardware (rack servers);
• Installation and configuration of Microsoft SQL Server;
• Server monitoring and management;
• Network management and troubleshooting (VLANs, switching, DNS, DHCP);
• Ensure high service levels and customer support excellence.
• High School Diploma, Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Information Technology or related field;
• +5 years of experience in Microsoft systems administration;
• Strong experience with virtualized environments: Hyper-V and VMware;
• Knowledge of networking technologies and protocols: Ethernet, VLAN, VPN, IPSec/ SNMP, TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6;
• Experience with hardware from major vendors: HPE, Dell, IBM;
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server;
• Experience with server operation, management, and monitoring tools;
• ITIL knowledge (preferably ITIL Foundation 2011 certification);
• Microsoft certifications (valued).
