About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and language-proficient Swedish Content Moderator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, monitoring, and moderating user-generated content to ensure it complies with our community guidelines and legal requirements. You will play a key role in maintaining a safe, respectful, and engaging environment for our Swedish-speaking users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and moderate user-generated content (text, images, videos) in Swedish.
  • Evaluate reports of inappropriate content and take appropriate actions based on internal policies.
  • Ensure compliance with platform rules, local laws, and community guidelines.
  • Escalate complex or sensitive issues to relevant teams as necessary.
  • Provide feedback and contribute to the development of moderation guidelines and best practices.
  • Maintain productivity and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
  • Stay updated on current events and cultural trends in Sweden to better understand context and nuance.
Requirements
  • Native-level proficiency or C2 in Swedish and good command of English.
  • Strong understanding of internet culture, social media, and digital content trends in Sweden.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Experience in content moderation, customer service, or a related field is a plus.
  • Comfortable viewing potentially sensitive or disturbing content (with mental health support provided).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in content moderation, trust & safety, or online community management.
  • Familiarity with content policies and legal frameworks relevant to digital platforms in Sweden.
  • Knowledge of additional Nordic languages is a plus.
