Integrated into Pw department, this professional will be part of the team of specialists in the Economics area, focusing on providing economic insights and evidence to support our clients' decision‑making. They will be involved in various projects including macroeconomic and sectoral analyses, social, economic and environmental (ESG) impact assessments, strategic reflection, investment analysis, business plans, among other related projects, for both private and public promoters.

The position will be based in the Lisbon office, where a hybrid work policy is in place (remote and on-site depending on team and project needs).

Main Responsibilities Associated With This Position Include
  • Economic analysis and modelling;
  • Business and/or sectoral analysis;
  • Financial analysis;
  • Collaborating with team members to conduct data‑based research and analysis, both qualitative and quantitative;
  • Developing content for presentations, reports, and other relevant documents;
  • Data processing and handling;
  • Conducting consultations with third‑party entities as part of projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Economics, Statistics, or another relevant field, such as Finance or Econometrics (preferred);
  • Knowledge and interest in econometrics and macroeconomics;
  • Strong skills in MS Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word);
  • Familiarity with data visualization and/or analysis tools is valued (e.g., R, Stata, Alteryx, Microsoft Power Tools, Tableau, among others);
  • Native‑level Portuguese and oral/written comprehension of English (certification preferred);
  • Critical and analytical thinking to translate complex data into relevant insights;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills;
  • High sense of responsibility, commitment, and attention to detail;
  • Dynamism, proactivity, and organizational skills;
  • Ability to work in a team and under pressure;
  • Resilience, adaptability, and flexibility to different project contexts;
  • Availability for local and international travel, depending on project requirements.
