1GLOBAL, a rapidly growing telecommunications provider in Portugal, seeks a Staff Infrastructure Engineer to set the technical direction for our private cloud and bare-metal platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with OpenStack and Ceph, capable of leading architecture and deployment for large-scale production systems.

This role entails collaborating with multiple teams to ensure a robust infrastructure while mentoring engineers to drive technical excellence across projects.

Qualificações

• Minimum 8 years in infrastructure engineering.
• Deep experience deploying and operating production OpenStack.
• Proven experience operating Ceph clusters in production.

Responsabilidades

• Own the architecture and long-term technical strategy of the private cloud.
• Lead the design of new data center deployments.
• Define SDN strategy and networking architecture.
