Claranet Portugal in Porto is seeking an experienced SRE to join our internal team. You will optimize our observability platform, manage Kubernetes deployments, and drive cloud operations to improve reliability and performance.

Ideal candidates have hands-on SRE/DevOps background, strong cloud-native knowledge, and solid experience with GCP, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry. This role focuses on scalable, secure infrastructure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

Proven experience as an SRE, Platform/DevOps engineer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of infrastructure and cloud-native technologies.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s).
Experience with observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Mimir/Thanos.
Minimum 3 years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Solid understanding of monitoring, logging, metrics collection and distributed tracing.

Responsabilidades

Optimize, maintain and evolve the internal observability platform.
Manage and improve Kubernetes-based deployments and infrastructure.
Enhance monitoring, alerting, logging and tracing across the platform.
Design and implement scalable and reliable observability solutions.
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system reliability and performance.
Drive best practices around automation, observability and cloud operations.
