Job summary

Visteon Corporation is seeking a senior IT architect and leader to own the architecture and development of IT solutions for Operations, including MES, WMS, and AI/GenAI applications. You will lead a multi-site team of product family leads, analysts, and senior analysts, driving technical direction and optimizing the data footprint.

The role focuses on modernizing the CIMPLE platform, transitioning to hybrid cloud, and delivering AI-driven software development lifecycles while ensuring system

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in MES and shop-floor / supply-chain / quality domain.
• 5+ years in software development and solution architecture with containerization and hybrid-cloud design.
• Experience in systems integration - SAP interfaces, EDW, and OEM/Catena-X data exchange.
• Applied AI/ML and GenAI solution development with AI-assisted software engineering.
• Modern SDLC, DevOps and Agile practices with strong quality and security discipline.
• Proven leadership of distributed, multi-site development teams and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution architecture and development across the operations portfolio.
• Lead and develop a multi-site team of Product Family Leads and Analysts.
• Drive the modernization of the CIMPLE platform and move to hybrid cloud architectures.
• Ensure integration integrity across SAP, EDW, and OEM data exchanges.
• Align technical roadmaps with business priorities and govern delivery with reduced defects.

Mission of the Role:

Lead the architecture, design and development of the ITsolutions that run Visteon's Manufacturing Operations. As the technicaldelivery engine of the IT for Operations organization, own the solutionportfolio:

• Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES);
  
• Shopfloor Material Flow Solutions (WMS + Shopfloor WIP)
• AI/GenAI solutions applied to theOperations space.

Key Responsabilities of this Role:

Own end-to-endsolution architecture and development

across the operations portfoliomentioned above.

Lead anddevelop a multi-site team

of Product Family Leads, Lead Analysts andSenior Analysts - setting technical direction, balancing capacity acrossinitiatives, and growing the team's engineering and AI capability.

Drive theCIMPLE platform

modernization: deliver CIMPLE 4.4 development andglobal deployment, drive the move to a hybrid cloud, container-basedarchitecture, and optimize the data footprint to reduce Total Cost ofOwnership.

Lead thedelivery

of AI and GenAI use cases into operations solutions andchampion the shift to an AI-driven software development lifecycle.

Safeguardsystem reliability

and integration integrity across the portfolio - SAP and Enterprise Data Warehouse interfaces and OEM data exchange - ensuring performance, security and data quality.

Partner withbusiness and IT leadership to align technical roadmaps with operationalpriorities and govern

delivery - embed architecture standards, reducedefects, improve speed of delivery and drive measurable business outcomes forthe stakeholders.

Key Performance Indicators:

Contribution toManufacturing improvement of efficiency and quality KPIs. Driven by Plant OEEand FTT KPIs

Systemavailability, stability and performance across manufacturing sites.

On-time, on-scopedelivery of the portfolio roadmap.

TCO reductionachieved through system and data footprint optimization.

Speed of deliveryand defect reduction from the AI-driven SDLC.

Qualification, Experience and Skills:

8 years'experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and shop-floor /supply-chain / quality domain expertise.

5 years'experience in Software development and solution architecture, containerizationand hybrid-cloud design;
performance and TCO optimization.

Experience inSystems integration - SAP interfaces, Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), and OEM/ Catena-X data exchange.

Applied AI / MLand GenAI solution development, plus AI-assisted software engineering.

Modern SoftwareDevelopment Life Cycle, DevOps and Agile delivery practices, with strongquality and security discipline.

Proven leadershipof distributed, multi-site development teams and third-party/vendor management.
