Expert Executive Recruiters (EER Global) in Lisbon is seeking a senior .NET Developer to join an international tech team. You will work on Blazor-based web applications and cloud-native Azure services, contributing across design, development, and deployment in a fast-paced, global environment.

The role focuses on scalable back-end services with C# and .NET, performance and security improvements, and collaboration with product and QA teams to deliver high-quality features.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of C# / .NET development experience.
• 1+ year experience with Azure DevOps (CI/CD, repos, boards).
• Experience with Azure Cloud services (App Services, Functions, Storage).
• Strong SQL knowledge (Azure SQL, performance tuning, schema design).
• Agile/work in fast-paced environments; strong problem-solving.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain Blazor-based web applications and internal tools.
• Build scalable backend services using C# and .NET.
• Implement cloud-native solutions on Azure (App Services, Functions, DevOps pipelines, SQL).
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and stakeholders to deliver features.

We are helping one of our clients, an international technology company, grow its R&D team in Portugal. The team works closely with a global fintech and insurance technology business, developing and evolving an AI-powered platform used by enterprise customers across international markets. The engineering environment combines complex systems, real-time processing and high-load requirements, giving experienced developers the opportunity to work on technically demanding solutions at scale.

About the role

We are looking for a senior .NET Developer with strong experience in Blazor, C#, and Azure to join a dynamic team working on modern, cloud-based applications.

In this role, you will contribute to the development of scalable, high-performance systems, supporting both internal platforms and customer-facing solutions. You will be involved in the full development lifecycle, from design through to deployment and optimisation, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an international environment.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with modern Microsoft technologies and frontend frameworks and wants to grow within complex, cloud-native environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Blazor-based web applications and internal tools
• Build clean, efficient, and scalable backend services using C# and .NET
• Implement cloud-native solutions on Azure (App Services, Functions, DevOps pipelines, SQL, etc.)
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality features
• Optimise application performance, reliability, and security
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical improvements
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the stack
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and project needs

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with C# / .NET development
• 1 + year experience with Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, repositories, boards)
• Experience working with Azure Cloud services (App Services, Functions, Storage, etc.)
• Solid understanding of SQL (Azure SQL, query optimisation, schema design)
• Ability to work in fast-paced, agile environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Fluent English language level (written and spoken), Portuguese is nice to have

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus (Topics), Azure API Management (APIM) or Power Apps
