Sysmatch is seeking a Solution Architecture Lead to lead a high-performing team of Solution Architects and shape the architecture strategy across engineering domains. The role requires hands-on software engineering experience, strong cloud expertise (AWS/Azure) and a proven ability to balance long-term architecture with delivery demands.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Several years of experience in Software / Solution Architecture.
• Proven leadership experience managing or leading architecture/engineering teams.
• Strong hands-on background in software engineering, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, business continuity and resilience.
• Experience managing technical debt and balancing short-term delivery with long-term architecture.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic mindset with strong execution capabilities.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of Solution Architects.
• Define the architecture vision, strategy and roadmap across engineering domains.
• Ensure architectural alignment across business capabilities and technical domains.
• Drive technical debt reduction and continuous architecture evolution.
• Define and enforce standards for availability, resilience, disaster recovery, business continuity and risk management, including NIS2.
• Establish resilience practices such as architecture reviews, maturity assessments and failure testing.
• Provide hands-on guidance on scalable, secure, cloud-native and fault-tolerant distributed systems.
• Align Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, Security and Product teams.
• Promote modern architecture patterns such as Event-Driven Architecture, Domain-Driven Design and API-First.
