IRIUM Portugal in Lisbon is seeking a Software Engineer - Perl to join our backend OSS team. You will develop and maintain Perl-based applications, integrate with network elements and OSS/BSS platforms, and design solutions for inventory, provisioning, fault management, and service activation.

The role requires 3-5 years of Perl experience, telecom OSS exposure, and strong SQL skills in Linux/Unix environments. English at C1 level is expected, with hybrid work in Lisbon.

Qualificações

• 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience with Perl as a core skill.
• Experience in telecom OSS context - inventory, fault management, provisioning, or data mediation.
• Familiarity with telecom protocols and standards such as SNMP, SOAP/XML, TL1, or NETCONF/YANG.
• Experience integrating with NMS/EMS systems or network element APIs.
• Solid SQL skills and experience with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL).
• Comfortable in Linux/Unix environments with shell scripting.
• English proficiency at C1 level or above.

About the Role

Location & Salary

Location: Lisbon, Hybrid 2x

Salary Range: *****€ - *****€ net monthly
