We Are META is seeking a skilled Software Engineer specializing in Java and Angular, with a focus on Keycloak and Kafka projects. Candidates should have at least 6 years of professional experience, fluent English (B2), and be available for a hybrid work model, attending the office twice a week in Porto or Lisbon. Required qualifications include hands-on experience with RESTful API development, Docker, CI/CD, and familiarity with Identity Management patterns. Candidates must be based in Portugal or hold valid EU work permits.

For this position, the perfect candidate should have the following skills:

• At least 6 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer
• Professional experience with Java for Keycloak extensions and Kafka projects
• Professional experience with Angular
• Hands on with Identity Management (OAuth2, OIDC, SSO patterns)
• Experience with API Development (RESTful services & microservices architecture)
• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Previous experience with Keycloak (IDP, SPI development) (plus)
• Experience with Spring Boot and Spring framework
• Fluency in English is mandatory (B2)
• Available for a Hybrid Work model 2 x week in Porto or Lisbon (candidates must be based in Portugal and Portuguese or other EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit is required).
