PIBRA - Industrial Solutions in Guimarães is seeking a Software Engineer to execute the full lifecycle of product development, building well-designed, efficient, and testable server-side code in Java. You will work on new capabilities, re-architecting parts of an existing system, and delivering scalable services.

The role emphasizes test-driven development, API design (REST/SOAP), relational and NoSQL databases, and clean code with strong documentation.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in software engineering
• Experience developing server-side web applications in Java
• Experience developing Java Web Services with public API (e.g. REST, SOAP)
• Experience with relational (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB)
• Proficient in object-oriented development
• Able to adopt new technology quickly
• Knowledge of Java frameworks, architecture, and design patterns
• Good communication skills
