Job summary

PrimeIT is recruiting a SOC L2 in Lisbon for a hybrid work setup. You will investigate, monitor, and analyze incidents from SIEM, escalate when needed, and apply containment and remediation across networks and systems.

We value SOAR playbooks, use-case development for threat detection, and relevant cybersecurity certifications (CEH/GIAC/BTL1/BTL2). 3+ years in security operations preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Security Operations or SOC role.
• Experience with SIEM and SOAR platforms.
• Experience in incident investigation, containment, and remediation.

We are looking for a SOC L2 with:

• Proven experience in SIEM solutions, including investigation, monitoring, and incident analysis
• Strong knowledge of SOAR platforms, automation processes, and Playbook creation
• Experience creating and managing Use Cases for security monitoring and threat detection
• Ability to investigate and handle incidents escalated by N1 teams, ensuring accurate technical diagnosis
• Experience executing containment, remediation, and follow-up actions for failures across systems, networks, and security environments
• Valued certifications in the cybersecurity field, such as CEH, BTL1, BTL2, or GIAC
