Aubay Portugal is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to build, automate, and operate the Snowflake platform with focus on reliability and performance. You will provision Snowflake resources, implement IaC with Terraform, and develop CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.

Ideally you have 3–5 years in data platform engineering or DevOps/SRE, with Snowflake experience, plus scripting in Python or Bash and cloud familiarity (AWS or Azure).

Qualificações

• 3–5 years in data platform engineering or DevOps/SRE with 1–2 years in Snowflake.
• Strong SQL proficiency and performance tuning; Snowflake warehouses, Streams & Tasks.
• Hands-on Terraform for Snowflake and cloud providers, CI/CD pipelines, Python/Bash scripting.
• Experience with AWS or Azure including networking, storage (S3/ADLS), IAM/secrets.

Responsabilidades

• Build, automate, and operate the Snowflake platform for reliability and speed.
• Provision and administer Snowflake resources per RBAC standards.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for Snowflake resources and cloud services.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated provisioning, testing, and deployment.
• Provide hands-on support for Matillion ETL/ELT and optimize queries.
• Build monitoring, alerting, and incident response for platform reliability.
