Job summary

PPOAR in Faro, Portugal is hiring a Welder to join our manufacturing team. You will fuse metal parts using MIG, TIG, and stick welding, read blueprints, and ensure quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of welding experience in a professional setting.
• Ability to read blueprints and project specifications.
• Familiarity with MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints to determine welding techniques.
• Operate grinders, drills, and saws.
• Prepare surfaces for welding by cleaning contaminants.
• Set up welding equipment: gas, voltage, and amperage.
• Use MIG, TIG, and stick welding to join parts.
• Inspect welds for quality and perform repairs as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and wear protective gear.
• Collaborate with team to complete projects on time and within budget.
