Job summary

Fishing Planet, an independent game studio, seeks a Unity Developer to help shape gameplay across platforms. You will join a collaborative, international team and contribute to core mechanics, features, and performance optimizations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years programming, 3+ years Unity, strong C#/.NET, and a solid grasp of multithreading, design patterns, and shader basics. Proficiency in Ukrainian and good English are required; experience with ECS/HDRP/DOTS is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of programming experience in relevant fields.
• 3+ years of game development using Unity.
• Senior knowledge of C#/.NET.
• Strong multithreading and synchronization understanding.
• Solid knowledge of design patterns and OOAD.
• Shader programming basics.
• Strong math and physics background for game development.
• Proficiency in Ukrainian and good command of English.

Responsibilities

• Develop core gameplay mechanics for the free-to-play title.
• Support and extend existing features and systems.
• Improve developer tooling and implement new tooling.
• Optimize performance across multiple platforms.
