Job summary

Clan is seeking a Senior Telecom Engineer Consultant to join its Telecom Engineering CoE in Porto or Lisbon. You will engage in telecom network consultancy projects (mobile and fixed) and drive end-to-end network solutions in a cross-functional setup, with a strong advisory mindset.

You will plan, coordinate and execute project activities, collaborate with stakeholders, and mentor junior team members while maintaining autonomy in client-facing environments.

Qualifications

• Higher Education degree in Telecommunications/related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in design/management/implementation of mobile or fixed networks.
• Experience in network architecture, implementation, or operation across RAN, EPC/5G Core, Backhaul, Core.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese (written and spoken).
• Knowledge of virtualization/containerization of network functions (VNF/CNF) and lifecycle management; PMP/PRINCE2/ITIL/eTOM/ONAP/CAMARA APIs certifications are a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client-facing consultancy.
• Strong teamwork, collaboration, and trust-building with clients and peers.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to participate in international projects.

Responsibilities

• Active participation in telecom network consultancy projects (mobile and fixed).
• Contribute to design, planning, and implementation of end-to-end network solutions.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute project activities with autonomy to ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify requirements, define solutions, and coordinate implementation.
• Manage relationships with clients and key stakeholders within your scope.
• Mentor junior team members in project deliverables while maintaining client-facing autonomy.
• Availability to participate in international projects.
