Claranet Portugal is seeking a DBA SQL Server for our Talent Team in Cacém to ensure reliable and secure SQL Server environments across on-premises and Azure.

You will administer, monitor, and optimize databases, manage security, backups, and migrations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that support development, testing, and production workloads.

Qualificações

• 4 to 5 years of experience in SQL Server DBA.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure environments.
• Experience with performance monitoring, backup and recovery, and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and team spirit.

Responsabilidades

Right now, we are looking for a DBA SQL Server for a client on our Talent Team, based in Cacém.

Your responsibilities include:

• Administer and maintain SQL Server database environments across on-premises and Azure infrastructures;
• Monitor database performance, availability, backup, recovery, and maintenance activities;
• Manage database security, upgrades, migrations, and high availability solutions;
• Optimize database performance through monitoring, troubleshooting, and query tuning;
• Support development, testing, and production environments, ensuring reliability and best practices;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

You must have:

• 4 to 5 years of experience in SQL Server Database Administration;
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure environments;
• Experience with database performance monitoring, backup and recovery, and troubleshooting;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Good communication skills and team spirit.
