Carrier seeks a Senior Software Engineer in Porto to design, build, and maintain software powering connected fleet solutions. You’ll work across the full stack, delivering scalable features and APIs, with strong AWS usage and collaboration with product, hardware and data teams.

You’ll participate in the full SDLC, write reliable code, and contribute to engineering practices, CI/CD pipelines, and system architecture while staying focused on IoT and energy management domains.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Solid experience as a Software Engineer/Developer with strong fundamentals in at least one backend language and modern frontend frameworks.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, IAM).
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and Linux environments.
• Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases, REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and software testing practices.
• Fluent in English; Portuguese is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack features (frontend, backend, APIs).
• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS for scalable, secure systems.
• Work with data from hardware devices through backend services to the UI.
• Participate in full software development lifecycle: requirements, design, tests, deployment, monitoring.
• Write clean, well-tested code and improve CI/CD pipelines and architecture.
• Collaborate with product, hardware, and data teams to translate requirements into solutions.
