Job summary

SAFIRA is seeking a Senior Software Developer to drive long-term project strategy and hands-on development across multiple projects. The role requires leading a tech team of about six, delivering high-quality software, and ensuring clear documentation and stakeholder communication.

Fluency in English and willingness to travel are essential. Candidates should have a software engineering or computer science background, several years in software delivery, and strong OO programming skills.

Qualifications

University degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
3–5 years as Software Engineer in IT/Media/Telecom.
2+ years leading a technical team (~6 engineers).
Experience with Java J2EE or other OO language.
Strong stakeholder management during analysis.
Production delivery experience and delivery focus.
Excellent communication with internal/external customers.
Fluency in English; willingness to travel.
Soft skills valued.

Responsibilities

Define and implement the long-term strategy for project management and continually look for improvements.
Participate in all or most phases of a software delivery project and contribute hands-on when needed.
Lead multiple team members through analysis, design, development, testing and deployment.
Execute and manage resources to ensure timely project completion and adoption of solutions.
Structure and prepare documents and presentations; ensure tasks and systems are documented.
Promote ECM enablement by giving technological advisory.
