A Elastic Nv está a recrutar um Engenheiro de Software Sênior para o Control Plane - Hosted. O profissional será responsável pelo design técnico, implementação e resolução de falhas complexas, contribuindo para uma base de serviços elástica e escalável em ambientes SaaS.

Procuramos alguém com pelo menos 5 anos de experiência, liderança técnica, e conhecimento sólido em linguagens como Scala, Java ou Go, bem como nocões de orquestração, networking e containers.

Formación

• 5+ anos de experiência como engenheiro de software
• Experiência em liderar equipas de engenheiros
• Conhecimento de linguagens back-end Scala, Java ou Go
• Profundo conhecimento em tecnologias relevantes para SaaS (orquestração, networking, containers)
• Paixão por automação e qualidade

Responsabilidades

• Conduzir designs técnicos entre equipas e definir uma arquitetura de alto nível da equipa
• Liderar as melhores práticas de desenvolvimento para uma base escalável e uma experiência de utilizador sólida
• Contribuir e liderar planos técnicos dentro da equipa e com outros Product Teams na Elastic
• Integrar-se numa equipa distribuída de engenheiros globalmente
• Colaborar com outras equipas (ex.: apoiar engenheiros de suporte e orientar engenheiros Elasticsearch)

What is The Role

As a Software Engineer on our Control Plane - Hosted team, you will be responsible for technical design and work in key functional areas of Elastic’s Cloud offerings. You will participate in coding, crafting solutions, debugging sophisticated failure scenarios, and prioritizing bug fixes and features. You’ll analyze the current system, its strength and limitations.

What You Will Be Doing

• Guide cross-team technical designs and help create a team-wide high level architecture
• Lead best practices for development, ensuring a reliable, scalable foundation and an engaging user experience for our customers
• Contribute and lead technical plans and direction within our team and across other product teams in Elastic
• Be part of a distributed team of engineers from all across the globe
• Collaborate with other teams within Elastic. Examples include helping Support engineers in diagnosing problems or advising the Elasticsearch engineers with designing new features

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, with a track record of delivering high-quality code
• Previous experience providing pragmatic technical leadership for a group of engineers
• Knowledge of back-end languages such as Scala, Java or Go
• Technical depth in one or more technologies relevant for SaaS (orchestration, networking, containers, etc.)
• Passion for automation and quality
