Spectrum IT Recruitment Portugal is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Platform team of a fast-growing US-headquartered company. You will design, build and maintain a platform powering AI workloads at scale, operating deep in distributed systems territory.

You will lead cross-functional technical initiatives, drive engineering standards across design, testing, observability and CI/CD, and collaborate with product, design and other engineers to ship high-quality experiences.

Qualificações

• 4+ years’ experience working on a SaaS product.
• Strong background in distributed systems, ideally in Golang, Python, or Rust.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and/or containerised services.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.

We’re working with a fast-growing, well-funded US headquartered company who are hiring for a Senior Software Engineer to join their Platform team.

This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to build the infrastructure that powers customer facing AI workloads at real scale. You will be working deep in distributed systems territory.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, building, and maintaining the platform powering intelligent, customer facing services at scale
• Leading complex, cross-functional technical initiatives end to end
• Driving engineering standards across system design, testing, observability and CI/CD
• Working closely with product, design and other engineers to ship high-quality experiences

What we’re looking for:

• 4+ years’ experience working on a SaaS product
• Strong background in distributed systems, ideally in Golang, Python, or Rust
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and/or containerised services
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience

Nice to have:

• Experience across AWS, Azure or GCP
• Background building developer platforms, compute platforms, ML platforms, or serverless/container execution environments
• React/frontend exposure
• Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical project
