We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic team in Almada Portugal. As a Senior Software Developer you will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex software systems collaborating with cross‑functional teams to design solutions and ensuring the delivery of high‑quality code.

Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain software systems using various programming languages
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions
• Write clean efficient and high‑quality code
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and integrate them into our systems
• Ensure software security by implementing best practices and protocols
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior developers
• Mentor and train junior developers in coding techniques and best practices
• Participate in project planning estimation and documentation
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely delivery of projects

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Software Developer
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java C++ or Python
• Experience working with databases SQL or NoSQL
• Excellent problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Biometric passport is preferred but not required

Salary 1500$ per month negotiable based on experience

Location This is a full‑time position located in Almada Portugal
