Neotalent Conclusion in Lisbon is seeking a Senior SAP ABAP Consultant to join our Portuguese IT consulting company specializing in SAP solutions. You will develop, maintain, and optimize ABAP programs and objects, while guiding the ABAP team and aligning with SAP architecture and functional teams.

You will participate in complex SAP projects and rollouts, conduct code reviews, and help define standards. Fluent English is required, with a possibility of remote work.

Qualificações

• 6+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.
• Strong ABAP performance tuning skills.
• Experience with integrations (IDOC, RFC, Webservices, OData, REST).
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 is a plus.
• Fluent English; Lisbon-based with remote work option.

Role Overview:

We arelooking for aSenior SAP ABAP Consultant tojoin a PortugueseIT consultingcompany specializedin SAP solutions, digital transformation, and IT servicesfor large enterprises, in Lisbon.

What you will do:

You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing ABAP programs and objects, including Reports, Interfaces, BAPIs, BADIs, SmartForms, and Adobe Forms. You will provide technical support and guidance to the ABAP team, ensuring adherence to best development practices and high-quality code. You will act as a technical bridge between the development team and functional or SAP architecture teams. Additionally, you will assist the ABAP area leader in defining standards, reviewing solutions, organizing deliveries, and participating in the design of complex technical solutions for SAP projects and rollouts. Your role will also include conducting code reviews, estimating effort, planning technical tests, and contributing to the continuous growth and empowerment of the ABAP team.

What you are like:

• Academic training in Computer Engineering or similar;
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in SAP ABAP development;
• Proficiency in performance tuning of ABAP programs;
• Solid experience with integrations (IDOC, RFC, Webservices, OData, REST APIs);
• Experience with SAP Fiori / UI5 (considered a plus);
• Familiarity with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration);
• Strong analytical skills, organization, and attention to detail;
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and functional teams;
• Eagerness to share knowledge and work collaboratively in a team environment;
• Proactive mindset with the ability to assume responsibilities independently;
• Fluent English (mandatory).
