• Bachelor's degree in CS, SE, IS or related field.
• 6+ years in Quality Eng, Software Eng, Test Automation or DevOps.
• Strong QE and test automation experience with ownership of design/implementation.
• Hands-on Python, TypeScript/JavaScript or Java; API/UI/integration testing.
• CI/CD, Git, cloud and container environments; API integrations via events/webhooks.
• Knowledge of generative AI, LLMs, and agent patterns (RAG, tool calling, observability).
• Assess trade-offs in reliability, maintainability, security, costs, value.
• Develop reusable platforms/accelerators; AI application beyond experiments.
• Test data management, service virtualization; Playwright, Cypress, Jira/Xray, Azure DevOps.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English.

We are recruiting a Senior Quality Engineer Architect (m/f) to strengthen our team in Lisbon working on a hybrid basis.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field;
• At least 6 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Software Engineering, Test Automation or DevOps (valued);
• Strong experience in Quality Engineering and test automation, with demonstrated ownership of solution design and implementation;
• Hands-on proficiency in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript or Java, plus API, UI and integration testing;
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, cloud and container-based environments; ability to integrate platforms through APIs, events and webhooks;
• Practical knowledge of generative AI, LLMs and agent patterns, including RAG, tool calling, evaluation, guardrails and agent observability;
• Ability to assess engineering trade-offs across reliability, maintainability, security, operating costs and measurable value;
• Development of reusable engineering platforms or accelerators, and demonstrable application of AI beyond experimentation (valued);
• Test data management, service virtualisation and tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Jira/Xray or Azure DevOp (valued);
• Fluency in Portuguese and English (mandatory).
