SAP Sovereign Cloud is a specialized cloud solution designed to meet stringent data sovereignty, security, and compliance requirements. It is tailored for organizations that need to ensure their data remains within specific geographic or jurisdictional boundaries. A collaborative, cross‑functional working group within SAP focuses on defining, developing, and promoting best practices for the adoption and implementation of SAP Sovereign Cloud solutions.
We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (f/m/d) in the newly formed Sovereign Cloud Delivery Architecture Quality Assurance team of the Sovereign Cloud Delivery & Operations business unit within the Customer Services and Delivery board area. In this role, we test and operate the internal SAP Sovereign Cloud environments used as a reference by the regional Operations teams. You will help deliver SAP Multi‑Tenant applications to SAP Sovereign Cloud customers aiming at functional completeness, streamlined deployments, and smooth operation. You will work closely with technical product managers, engineers, our security team, as well as SAP product team members and Operations teams. You will have the opportunity to solve the intricate Sovereign Cloud challenges of scale and security, while using your functional expertise skills in the applications’ environment setup, functional expertise, and testing background (manual/automated). You will participate in the overall release lifecycle which includes scheduling, coordinating, and executing test cases for releases as well as patches in pre‑production Cloud landscape. You will help identify defects, track defect remediation, and include software or solution updates required to resolve issues in future deployments.
