Remote first - Portugal - Candidates must be based in Portugal.

We’re looking for a talented Senior QA Engineer to help us deliver exceptional digital products and experiences. You’ll be part of a creative, functional engineering team that values quality, collaboration, and innovation in everything we do.

This role is remote first with hubs in Lisbon and Porto. You will have strong Portuguese and a good level of English speaking.

What you’ll do

• Work with a range of clients across industries, ensuring quality is built into every stage of design and delivery
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and project leads to embed best QA practices into processes and programmes
• Drive automation and continuous improvement using tools like Playwright, Cypress, Pytest, Pact, Karate, and k6
• Build automated end test suites for web and mobile (Appium 2, Detox, Espresso) and integrate with CI pipelines
• Apply AI-assisted testing, accessibility checks, and performance monitoring to ensure exceptional user experiences

What you’ll bring

• Proven expertise in automation frameworks and test development (Playwright, Cypress)
• Hands‑on experience in QA for mobile, web, and APIs (Postman, REST Assured, Pytest, Appium 2 etc.)
• Strong understanding of BDD, CI/CD, and documentation best practices
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2), performance testing, and security basics
• Excellent communication skills and experience working across multiple projects
• Knowledge of Jira, Asana, Figma, and a keen eye for design fidelity and usability
