Extia is seeking an experienced Frontend & Python Developer to join our central Agent Platform squad in Lisbon. The role focuses on building, evolving, and scaling an internal Retrieval-Augmented Generation platform with interactive bot widgets for 30 countries.

You will design intuitive frontend interfaces with React, develop robust Python back-end services and data pipelines, and manage API connections (APIGEE).

We are looking for an experienced Frontend & Python Developer to join our central Agent Platform squad. The primary focus is to build, evolve, and scale our internal Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) platform bundled with interactive bot widgets, delivering off-the-shelf AI tools to international business units across 30 countries.

Key Responsibilities & Core Tasks

Frontend & Backend Engineering

• Build and optimize intuitive frontend interfaces using React.
• Develop and manage robust backend services and data pipelines using Python.
• Handle API integration and management (e.g., APIGEE) for seamless service connectivity.

Use Case Onboarding & Scaling

• Onboard local market use cases across different regions, providing technical support and setting up environment configurations.
• Author playbooks and establish repeatable frameworks to accelerate onboarding and deployment speed.

Operations, Incident Management & Security

• Support daily platform operations, monitor existing active bots, and follow up on incidents.
• Maintain system stability by troubleshooting technical issues, resolving technical debt, and mitigating security vulnerabilities across application and dependency layers.

Cross-Functional Agile Collaboration

• Partner closely with Tech Leads, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and specialized functional teams (Data Science, MLOps, DevOps, Security, Procurement).
• Actively contribute to all Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, refinements, reviews, and retrospectives).
