Act Digital in Lisbon is seeking a Python Developer / Data Engineer to design, develop and maintain scalable data solutions. You will build robust data pipelines, ensure data quality, and support analytics and regulatory use cases in a financial services environment.

The role requires strong Python and SQL skills, experience with PySpark, Hive, Hadoop and Dataiku DSS, plus exposure to Power BI or Tableau for data visualization. Collaboration across international teams is essential.

Qualificações

• Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines.
• Strong Python coding and SQL skills.
• Experience with PySpark, Hive and Hadoop.
• Experience with Dataiku DSS or similar data platforms.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, IBM).
• Experience in Agile teams and with Jira/Confluence.
• Ability to translate business needs into data models.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and data processing workflows.
• Implement data ingestion, transformation, cleaning, and quality controls using Python and SQL.
• Work with large-scale data platforms using PySpark, Hive, and Hadoop.
• Build and maintain data solutions using Dataiku DSS or similar platforms.
• Ensure data consolidation within a scalable analytical framework.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and data models.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions and validate results.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of data architecture and processes.
